As we all know, this is an unprecedented time for all of us.

Never has the economy faced uncertainty like this, so it’s understandable that, as a country, we share an air of trepidation.

But, in true British fashion, the nation is continuing to stand together against the pandemic.

Businesses are helping other businesses around the country, doing whatever they can to help one another survive, and we want to do everything we can to help.

We know that this period of insecurity that we’re facing is difficult, but we also know that standing still and watching it happen won’t help.

So we aren’t.

We want businesses to know that we’re still working, so we can help them.

For our team’s own safety, everyone is working from home, but we are doing so with a ‘business as usual’ mentality – because we know that’s what we need to do.

There is no doubt that the next few months will be tough. But we are here to help.

And once the fear of the unknown begins to slow down, we’ll still be here to help businesses rebuild and plan for a brighter future.

Over the next few days, we will be sharing as much relevant information as possible.

The government has already announced a massive £330bn financial package to aid businesses in this time of need and one of the measures was the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).

Whilst the parameters of the scheme are to be revealed shortly, we still don’t know the detailed terms or timing from applications being received to funds being paid out.

So, for those businesses looking for an immediate cash injection in the meantime, we may be able to help – whether that’s an unsecured loan or refinancing any existing debts to release cash as a stop gap to pay wages or essential overheads.

We will also happily take a look at any existing finance agreements you have in place and give you an unbiased view to see if there are any ways that we can help you free up some capital.

If you have questions, we will do our best to help.

And to those businesses that are struggling to meet repayments and are existing customers of MAF, let us know and we can speak to the funder to see how we can help.

For now, if there is anything that we can support you with, whether that’s to discuss your financial situation or merely bounce any of your ideas or thoughts off us, we’re here for you.

By working together and by businesses helping businesses, we will come out the other side of this as a stronger and more communal country than ever before.

Stay safe and stay hopeful.
