We are delighted to have bolstered our presence in Yorkshire by appointing a new Senior Business Development Manager.
Craig Bennett has joined the company and will be looking to grow our commercial and corporate client base in Yorkshire as part of our ongoing strategy.
After nine years at Royal Bank of Scotland as a Relationship Manager, Craig joins us from Lloyds Bank, where he spent ten years in a number of roles, including as an Area Director for real estate and specialist key markets.
His appointment continues our rapid expansion, as he becomes the 5th member of staff employed this year.
Craig was born in Pontefract, West Yorkshire before moving to Sheffield for 20 years, and now lives in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham. In his spare time, he is an avid Sheffield United fan and enjoys playing golf and squash.
On joining MAF, Craig said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Midlands Asset Finance at this exciting time. The company is really growing and I’m looking forward to aiding that growth even further.
“MAF has built an excellent reputation for its flexible and professional approach in handling complex finance transactions on behalf of clients and I’m looking to replicate that success with businesses in Yorkshire.”
MAF Director Dave Chapman said: “I’m delighted that Craig has joined the team here.
“With his expertise in the real estate and specialist key markets, and his experience in assisting larger corporate clients across the wider sector, Craig is exactly what the company needs as we look to continue to grow.
“He has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of finance, and we are looking forward to utilising this to assist as many businesses and operators as possible.
“We’ve done this successfully in our core Midlands operating area and we are looking to adopt this approach in Yorkshire, where we have an existing customer base and growth potential, by offering a personalised professional service to each business we engage with”.
